We are a group of people and organizations who are focused on preserving the animals, trees, plants, history and culture of the Verdugo Hills area in Tujunga, California. We are demanding accountability from our elected officials to stop the Canyon Hills development until a new environmental impact study is made.
200+ new homes in a wilderness area that is prone to fire is not safe. Residents struggled to evacuate in the 2017 La Tuna Canyon fire. This is an area with very limited access that is often compared to Paradise, California (where 85 people died in the Camp Fire)!
Volunteer your time and spread our mission through word-of-mouth. Please support the community groups and individuals who are working to stop this nightmare development. Sign up for the mailing list.
Help spread the word about the pending destruction of the Verdugo Hills!
Identify politicians and government officials with the ability to stop the Canyon Hills development! Let the public know who is on the side of nature and wildlife-- and who is not.
Help us spread the word on social media! Use #NoCanyonHills on tweets and postings.
We need people to lead and help in with committees: (1) Media Relations;; (2) Events; (3) Accountability; (4) Environmental; and, (5) Legal.
Demand the identity of all developers (names and addresses of people involved).
